Job DescriptionJob Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Senior Automation QE to join our quality assurance team. This role requires strong expertise in manual testing, proficiency with Playwright automation framework and complemented by hands-on experience in API testing using tools like ReadyAPI or Postman. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness, reliability, and performance of our applications through meticulous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test cases for web ensuring thorough functional coverage.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright with C# to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
• Design and perform API testing using ReadyAPI or Postman to validate backend functionality, data integrity, and performance.
• Conduct single-user testing to validate application usability and identify potential bottlenecks or issues (optional).
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and work with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.
• Prepare detailed test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
• Communicate test progress, risks, and issues effectively to project stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 5 to 12 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on manual testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright using C# automation framework for functional testing.
• Proven expertise in API testing using ReadyAPI or Postman.
• Experience in performing single-user testing is desirable (nice to have).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative Agile environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
