About AlphaVerse
AlphaVerse is an alpha crowdsourcing platform where global talent contributes signals and is rewarded for their innovations. We seek an exceptional Platform Quantitative Researcher to help grow and enhance our platform, and drive our research and trading efforts.
Role Overview
This role is a unique hybrid of business development and quantitative research.
Business Development
As the primary spokesperson for AlphaVerse, you’ll engage with our community, conduct workshops, and lead user acquisition efforts. You will craft training materials and design curriculums to upskill our consultant community.
Quantitative Research
At the same time, we are seeking an individual with a deep understanding of quantitative research. You will develop alphas that predict market movements and conduct research that contributes to our research efforts. As you mature in your role, you will develop strategies using AlphaVerse alphas and contribute to growing our quantitative investment business.
What You’ll Bring
- Candidates holding or pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in a highly technical field strongly preferred
- Familiarity with AlphaVerse or similar platforms
- Possess excellent English language skills, able to communicate highly complex ideas simply, able to present ideas to a variety of audiences
- Incredible work ethic, an insatiable curiosity, and a desire to work in a collegial and collaborative environment
- Strong command of popular quant programming languages such as Python, C++
- Exceptional understanding of software engineering principles and clean coding practices
