Since then, we have expanded our footprint by establishing offices in Taipei (2005), Hong Kong (2007), Shanghai (2012) and Singapore (2021). The business in Mumbai is newly established and deemed to be an integral part of the APAC strategy, with an anticipation of significant growth over the coming years.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

You will improve our trading results using insights driven by data. You'll work closely with the development, research, and trading teams. You will develop hypotheses and test them experimentally. You'll direct engineering efforts and build tools to monitor and optimise our low-latency trading strategies. You'll work with cutting-edge hardware and terabytes of data. You’ll reverse engineer systems to understand how to improve our trading success. In short, you’ll be responsible for defining and driving improvements to our trading through technology.


WHO YOU ARE:

  • 2-5 years' years in an equivalent role.
  • An understanding of how computer systems work e.g., memory allocation, caches, system programming, networking.
  • Experience in programming Python (Pandas, Numpy, SciPy) or other data science toolkits (R, Matlab) strongly preferred.
  • Scientific and critical thinking skills, as well as an eye for detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills. You’re able to coordinate with multiple stakeholder groups, challenging thinking and obtaining buy-in.
  • The ability to present complex ideas with data to expedite decision making.
  • A focus on pragmatic outcomes, and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • An interest in, or knowledge of, trading.
  • Reverse engineering experience a bonus.
