The Position
The People Operations (HR) Generalist is a key advocate and evangelist for employee satisfaction, knowledge and events that drive employee motivation and success at Claritas Rx. This role will be the primary point of contact for all information on benefits, perks, and company culture. They will identify and lead 4-6 remote based employee events per year, including events focused on DEI and Health & Wellbeing. The People Operations Generalist role will establish and lead multiple employee resource groups focused on a community of cross-functional leaders that identify, plan, and deploy events and communications regarding the culture and community of Claritas Rx.
This role will also be a key stakeholder on all onboarding, offboarding, and retention efforts across the business, focusing on automation and streamlining of tasks to make employment changes navigable and smooth.
As a key champion of culture, this role will work collaboratively with the Head of People Operations on the annual employment engagement surveys, compensation reviews, and annual handbook updates.
Key Accountabilities
- Culture ambassador: value and evangelize Claritas Rx as a “best place to work” with a grassroots, authentic, and collaborative, mentality
- Lead Employee Resource Groups on DEI and Health/Wellness initiatives that produce meaningful output/events/education
- Owner of Perks & Benefits; keep employees informed and educated on all benefits plans and offerings that are available to employees new and existing, including Open Enrollment periods of the Benefit calendar year
- Manage Employee Leaves of Absences, including necessary reporting and file maintenance
- Manage the onboarding process for all new employees and contractors joining the Claritas Rx team; ensuring a successful start to the employee journey
- Lead all new hire orientations and organize cross-departmental onboarding meetings with stakeholders and new employees
- Work with the Head of People Operations on the annual Engagement Survey for design, deployment and analysis of the results. Ensure that feedback is translated into actionable goals for the leadership team.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of various HR functions in a generalist capacity
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations (specifically in California, but nationwide understanding is helpful)
- Excellent written and oral communication, with great listening and interpersonal skills
- An assumed good-intention and positive mindset for challenges
- Advanced proficiency with Google Suite and MS Office applications
- Ability to think creatively about how to add value to organizational culture
- Ability to prioritize, organize and execute multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain focus and collaborate proactively in a fast paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment
Education/Experience
Required:
- 2-3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
- 2+ years of experience working with a fully remote or mostly-remote/hybrid organization
- Experience with benefits administration
Preferred:
- PHR or SHRM-CP Certification
