Working under regular supervision, you will help maintain our reputation for excellent service and secure financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include payment processing across various products, such as the transfer of funds between financial institutions, cardholders, merchants, corporate and retail clients, and the reconciliation of purchase and sales options, futures, or securities. This may involve sanctions screening, payment investigations, funds control, exception processing, resolving reconciliation breaks, and invoicing or cash management activities.

Job responsibilities
- Execute high-volume payment processing tasks, including validating global currency fund transfers to ensure accurate and timely transactions, following established procedures.
- Process payments for cash, trade, merchant, or commercial card transactions as well as customer accounts and verification, performing basic research, reviewing sanctions, fraud, fund controls, and client investigation.
- Ensure timely and accurate adding & updating of client's information in respective Functional applications / Global Systems & mainframes.
- Manage the workflow of BAU, handling requests made to the Static Team from CSO's, Implementation Team & Internal Departments.
- Responding to queries received via mailbox and resolve any client issue on priority. The role involves interaction with Lines of Business and Internal clients via telephone or email, some of whom maybe of a senior capacity.
- Working on various BAU Projects assigned from time to time & ensure timely completion of projects. Process any required back-up tasks relating to production, identifying ways to improve current work practices
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Graduation with minimum 1 year of experience in payment Operations
- Intermediate knowledge of global payment processing operations or similar operations ( Payments / Swift/ Static Data/ Liquidity specialist/ Transaction life cycle/ Manual Payments / Sanctions screening/ Compliance / OFAC screening )
- Skilled in effective execution and task management, with strong time management abilities to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
- Proven ability in decision making and problem solving, utilizing critical and analytical thinking to ensure accuracy and effective solutions in moderately complex situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communications, as well as interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to solve problems, influence outcomes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in payment processing.
- Demonstrate analytical skills and attention to details, highly organized and deadline oriented, are strengths.
- Ability to work within a global team environment, spanning several regions, and time zones
- Willingness to work in Rotational Shift (including Night shift).
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of cash & Trade products would be an added advantage.
