As a Payment Lifecycle Manager - Vice President within our payments operations team, you will lead transaction processing activities and manage high value payments in an efficient and highly controlled environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Leading the team - Managing transaction processing activities, systemic verification of High Value payments in an efficient and highly controlled environment along with reviewing daily/weekly/monthly performance metrics to ensure all current, aging and sensitive outstanding tasks are identified and the deviations from service level agreements are tracked, discussed and cleared.
- Generate and implement plans and strategies to create a cost-effective service environment and managing head counts along with ensuring recruitments of a highly skilled work force in the team.
- Scrutinize, review, analyze and implement changes from data published daily/weekly from multiple reporting tools and continually reassess the operational risk taking into account changing business key deliverables, product implementations, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures, restructuring staff and the impact of changing technology.
- Collaborate, conduct and attend internal meetings with Product, Network, technology and Client service teams to add value and ensure flawless delivery by adopting bespoke process requirements with an end-result to enhance “client satisfaction”.
- Managing Audit requirements and play a key role in audit reviews, internal Quality Analysis/Quality Control checks partnering with internal controls teams and external auditors along with ensuring timely review, certification, re-certification and approvals of Cash function procedures, Operating Service Agreements and Business Resiliency plans.
- Expertise in setting up SMART goals and managing the performance of individuals by comprehensively discussing, counselling, motivating, being a mentor for career progression, personality development and build a robust and healthy team environment.
Creating strategic back up plans in sync with the roles and requirements of the business and manage the execution of cross-trainings to ensure “knowledge-transfer” amongst all teams.
Required qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Knowledge of custody & fund services, markets or prime brokerage operational experience and Swift MX messages pacs.008, pacs.009, camt.057, MT304, MT321, MT199, camt.056, MT292, MT599.
- Being flexible to manage tight deadlines, remain organized and balance priorities.
- Stakeholder management and partnership with various teams having excellent interpersonal skills with strong analytical and problem solving techniques, taking initiative to drive change & experience in working on large scale, multi-stream programs.
- Control focused mindset and a thorough understanding of risk associated to the process.
- “Attention to detail” – Leadership with proven ability to anticipate issues, logical structured approach to planning, problem solving, decision making and proactively manage/drive change initiatives& ensure results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in AI tools and ability to clearly storyboard using new AI tools such as LLM's.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with more than 8 years of work experience.
