Summary:
AI Powered Tech Talent. As a Salesforce AI Core Principal Architect, you will provide strategic technical leadership and architectural direction for AI core platforms across large, multi-year Salesforce and enterprise transformation programs. You will define the AI core vision, reference architectures, and governance models that span Salesforce, data platforms, and multi-cloud AI providers, aligning technology execution with business outcomes and Responsible AI principles.
This role requires deep Salesforce architecture expertise, broad cloud and AI knowledge, and strong leadership working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Act as enterprise-level Subject Matter Expert for AI core architecture, spanning Salesforce, data platforms, and cloud AI services.
Define end-to-end AI core reference architectures, standards, and guardrails to be adopted across programs and lines of business.
Architect scalable, secure, and future-ready AI platforms that expose reusable services, RAG frameworks, agent orchestration, and evaluation pipelines to multiple consuming applications.
Drive AI-first development practices across Salesforce and non-Salesforce teams, ensuring alignment with business strategy and value realization.
Lead architecture governance forums, design authorities, and technical steering committees for AI initiatives.
Partners with enterprise architects, data leaders, and security/compliance stakeholders to define policies on data usage, model selection, Responsible AI, and risk management.
Oversee solution architecture for large Salesforce programs (Sales, Service, Experience, Industry Clouds) that leverage AI core capabilities.
Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases, assess feasibility, and guide teams from ideation through product ionization.
Mentor and coach architects and senior engineers, building organizational capability in AI architecture and engineering.
Sponsor creation of reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best-practice assets for AI core implementation.
Provide advisory guidance to senior client stakeholders and internal leadership on AI strategy, roadmap, and investment decisions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills
Extensive expertise in Salesforce Technical Architecture with proven experience leading large, multi-cloud and multi-org transformations.
Deep understanding of cloud computing and enterprise architecture principles, including integration, security, and data management.
Strong experience designing and governing AI/ML and Generative AI solutions at scale (model selection, hosting, RAG, observability, guardrails).
Hands-on background (even if not day-to-day) with Apex, LWCs, Flows, and enterprise integrations, enabling effective technical oversight.
Experience establishing architecture standards, governance processes, and reference implementations across multiple delivery teams.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills at senior leadership level.
Experience with DevOps and platform engineering practices for scalable AI workloads.
Good to Have Skills
Experience building internal AI/ML platforms (MLOps, model registry, evaluation pipelines, feedback loops, AI policy enforcement).
Broad exposure to Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud AI offerings, and ability to design multi-cloud or hybrid AI strategies.
Participation in AI or data governance councils or similar enterprise bodies.
Certifications Required
Salesforce System Architect – Mandatory
Salesforce Application Architect – Mandatory
Agentforce Specialist – Mandatory
Agentforce AI Associate– Mandatory.
CTA – Strongly Preferred
Multiple advanced AI/Cloud certifications across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud – Preferred.
Additional Information:
15+ years of experience in Salesforce and enterprise architecture, including leadership of large transformation programs.
Experience managing multiple projects and delivery teams.
Exposure to enterprise-scale Salesforce transformation programs.
15 years of full-time education is required.
