OTC Valuations, Senior Associate, ISG Operations
We are seeking a Senior Associate with strong expertise in OTC derivatives to support the pricing of complex instruments traded by hedge fund clients. The role primarily involves sourcing and validating valuations using third-party platforms and analytics tools, ensuring accuracy and consistency across asset classes. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to ongoing projects aimed at enhancing valuation workflows and system integration.

About the Valuation Team:
The Valuation team at Morgan Stanley Fund Services plays a pivotal role in delivering independent and accurate pricing for Fixed Income and OTC derivatives across diverse asset classes—including Equities, FX, Interest Rates, Credit, and Commodities. This position demands deep expertise in OTC products and involves close collaboration with third-party pricing vendors, internal analytics platforms, and hedge fund clients to ensure precision and timeliness in valuing complex financial instruments.
What You’ll Do -
Perform valuation of OTC and structured products using third-party valuation service providers
Collaborate with global teams and hedge fund clients to ensure timely and accurate pricing
Partner with technology teams and external vendors to enhance in-house pricing systems
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving tools and processes in line with client and regulatory requirements
What You’ll Bring -
Master’s degree in finance along with CFA certification having at least 2-6 years of relevant experience (OTC Valuation)
Strong understanding of complex OTC products across asset (Equity, FX, IR, Credit Derivatives). Hedge funds experience will be an advantage
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability
Proficiency in MS Excel (including VBA); knowledge of other programming languages is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and attention to detail
Commitment to improving operational efficiency
