The Oracle Support Specialist manages system configuration, integration, troubleshooting and user support within Oracle Fusion ERP, assisting with month-end processes and audits.
This is an essential position within Oracle ERP. The Oracle Support Specialist will be responsible for managing system configuration, integration, and support tasks in Oracle Fusion. This role includes overseeing daily operations, troubleshooting integration issues, and supporting financial and Record to Report (R2R).
Responsibilities
- System Configuration: Set up & manage lookups, approval workflows, procurement configuration, purchasing categories, and maintain expense item & manage approval reassignments and approval group updates.
- Integration & Monitoring: Monitor integrations, raise service tickets for errors, and manage job failures.
- Testing & Support: Perform release testing, Oracle quarterly release regression testing, and resolve oracle system bugs with oracle support.
- Month-End Support: Assist with month-end closure, ensure subledger transactions are posted to GL, and manage mapping code corrections. Handle change requests and support critical period-end activities.
- Audit & Reporting: Support internal and external audit requests, provide required reports.
- User Support: Provide user training, create user guides, and update knowledge articles. Maintain integration distribution lists.
Essential Skills
Qualify for this role, the candidate must have:
- 3+ year's experience with Oracle Fusion (Finance, Procurement).
- Strong experience in system configurations, integration monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Oracle modules (AP, AR, Accounting Hub)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
