Oracle EPM Lead at Weatherford designs, implements, and sustains Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions, including EPBCS, FCCS, EDMCS, EPCM, EPCF, TRCS, ARCS, Narrative and Enterprise Reporting, for strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation. The role requires a deep understanding of financial processes, technical leadership working with architects, development teams, data integration expertise, and strong collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to ensure the EPM system aligns with business goals and organization strategy.
ResponsibilitiesRoles & Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for Oracle EPM solutions.
- Design EPM architecture, data models, and integration strategies aligned with enterprise objectives.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle EPM modules, managing the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Provide technical leadership to functional and development teams during implementation and support phases.
- Oversee system support activities, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Design, implement, and manage end-to-end data integrations between Oracle EPM and other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, management, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure solution alignment.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for EPM initiatives and mentor team members.
- Contribute to business development efforts and provide strategic technical guidance.
- Stay updated with Oracle EPM advancements, industry trends, and best practices; research and prototype new tools to enhance solution effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud modules including EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, PCM, Narrative & Enterprise Reporting.
- Hands-on experience with data management, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and integrations across multiple data sources.
- Solid understanding of financial processes such as FP&A, financial close, consolidations, reporting, and accounting.
- Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Scientific discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15+ years of experience with Oracle ERP, Hyperion, and Oracle EPM solutions.
Preferred
- Master’s degree.
- Experience delivering large-scale, global ERP transformation programs.
