An Odoo/Python Developer responsible for designing, developing, and customizing solutions using the Odoo framework. Job involves full stack development of cloud native applications and platforms using Odoo framework, JavaScript, Python, DevSecOps etc with AI generative tools like Github Co-pilot and Cursor deployed on Kubernetes cluster based Infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Developing, implementing, customizing, and integrating Odoo based business applications with other systems,
- Providing ongoing support and future enrichment of those solutions to support business processes and functions.
- Required to apply your depth of Odoo Framework, programming knowledge, and expertise to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Propose the best technical solution by understanding business requirements from a techno functional aspect.
- Collaborate continuously with Solutioning and business stakeholders daily to stay focused on common goals.
- Build the libraries and frameworks that support large, complex web platforms and applications.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related streams with 2+ years of experience as Python based developer using Odoo platform (Version 15, 16, 17 or 18) with strong knowledge of Odoo framework and Hands-on experience in Postgres database, SQL queries, XML/HTML/CSS/JavaScript based UI frameworks
- Willingness to contribute with creative, out-of-the-box solutions, to problems arising in a dynamic environment, under high market pressure.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in analyzing complex systems, excellent problem solving and interpersonal communication skills, Detailed-oriented with respect to documentation and communication
- Able to express complex concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing to business partners
- Hands-on experience with security standards, Object-oriented programming concepts, object modeling with relational databases
- Proficient in using AI tools like Github Copilot and Cursor
- Experience on JIRA, Knows agile development.
