Synechron is seeking an experienced .NET Full-Stack Developer specialized in financial services and investment banking. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure trading, risk management, and back-office applications. You will collaborate closely with domain experts, quant teams, and infrastructure specialists to deliver scalable solutions that meet complex financial workflows, regulatory standards, and performance requirements, supporting the organization’s strategic initiatives in financial technology.
Software RequirementsRequired Skills:
- Extensive experience in .NET technologies, including ASP.NET Core, C#, and .NET Framework (7+ years)
- Front-end frameworks: Angular or React (hands-on experience, 3+ years)
- REST API development and integration, WebSockets, and microservices architecture
- SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational database design
- Version control: Git
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in finance
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud platforms: Azure and AWS
- Experience with FIX Protocol and market data feeds
- Knowledge of low-latency systems and trading platform architecture
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Design and build end-to-end scalable, secure applications supporting trading, risk management, and reporting functions.
- Develop and optimize backend systems using ASP.NET Core, C#, and microservices architectures.
- Create rich, interactive, and responsive front-end interfaces utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Integrate with external systems, including third-party APIs, FIX Protocol market data feeds, and trading platforms.
- Collaborate with domain experts, traders, and technical teams to define requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance standards specific to financial services.
- Conduct code reviews, write comprehensive technical documentation, and adhere to best practices.
- Support deployment, testing, and troubleshooting of applications in production environments.
- Stay informed about industry trends, enabling continuous improvement and alignment with regulatory requirements.
Programming Languages:
- Required: C# (.NET Core, .NET Framework), JavaScript (Angular or React)
- Preferred: Additional experience with other languages such as TypeScript or Java
Databases and Data Management:
- SQL Server, T-SQL, database schema design
- Experience with market data systems and real-time data feeds
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra (preferred)
Cloud Technologies:
- Basic experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments
Frameworks and Libraries:
- ASP.NET Core, Angular, React
- REST APIs, WebSockets
- Microservices architecture
Development Tools and Methodologies:
- Git, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Automated testing frameworks for backend (xUnit, NUnit) and frontend (Jasmine, Karma)
Security & Compliance:
- Knowledge of financial security standards, including data encryption, secure API development, and regulatory compliance
- 5 to 12 years of full-stack development experience with .NET technologies
- Proven experience developing financial or trading software, with familiarity with market data, trading protocols, and low-latency systems
- Industry-specific experience preferred but eligible candidates with equivalent financial systems experience will be considered
- Knowledge of regulatory and security considerations in financial applications
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable backend systems supporting trading and risk operations
- Build intuitive, interactive front-end applications with modern JavaScript frameworks
- Collaborate with business, quant, and infrastructure teams to ensure technical alignment
- Integrate third-party APIs and external systems complying with security and latency standards
- Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, resolving issues promptly
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards
- Document technical designs and maintain project artifacts
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new tools, and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, or equivalent) are advantageous
- Continuous learning mindset to stay current with technological and regulatory changes
- Prior experience working within highly regulated financial environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex financial workflows
- Effective communication abilities to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and business requirements
- Attention to detail, especially regarding security, compliance, and performance
- Results-oriented with excellent time and project management skills
