Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SEO Technical Specialist with strong Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) expertise to drive technical SEO initiatives across enterprise digital platforms. The ideal candidate will lead technical SEO discovery and solution discussions, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure successful implementation of SEO best practices across AEM-based websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical SEO discovery sessions, requirement gathering workshops, and backlog grooming activities with business and technology stakeholders.
- Act as the primary SEO point of contact for cross-functional teams including Product, Development, Content, Analytics, and Marketing.
- Drive stakeholder alignment by translating SEO requirements into clear technical solutions and implementation plans.
- Lead technical SEO/GEO implementation and optimization for AEM websites and digital platforms.
- Partner with developers, architects, and product teams to define scalable SEO solutions and best practices.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations to improve organic search performance.
- Manage and optimize:
- Metadata
- Canonical tags
- Robots.txt
- XML sitemaps
- Structured data/schema markup
- Redirect strategies
- Pagination and hreflang implementation
- Ensure SEO compliance during new feature releases, migrations, redesigns, and platform upgrades.
- Collaborate with AEM development teams on component-level SEO enhancements and template optimization.
- Monitor crawl/indexation issues using SEO tools and search console platforms.
- Improve Core Web Vitals and page performance in partnership with engineering teams.
- Support sprint planning, prioritization, dependency management, and release readiness activities.
- Analyze SEO KPIs and provide regular status updates, performance reporting, and implementation insights to stakeholders.
- Support QA/UAT validation to ensure SEO requirements are properly implemented before production releases.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Technical SEO.
- Hands-on experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Strong experience facilitating discovery workshops, backlog grooming, and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SEO architecture and best practices.
- Experience with:
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics / Adobe Analytics
- Screaming Frog
- Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar SEO tools
- Knowledge of:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Page speed optimization
- Structured data/schema markup
- Redirect handling and indexing strategies
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AEM Cloud Service environments.
- Familiarity with Dispatcher/CDN configurations and caching impacts on SEO.
- Experience supporting enterprise website migrations and SEO transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.
- SEO certification or relevant digital marketing certifications preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with international SEO and multilingual websites.
- Understanding of accessibility and UX impacts on SEO.
- Exposure to headless CMS or composable architectures.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or omni-channel environments.
