We are looking for an experienced and motivated MERN Full Stack Developer to join our growing technology team at SolarSquare. As a full stack developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining modern web applications using the MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN) stack. This role demands strong technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on clean energy innovation.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable JavaScript/TypeScript code
- Develop user-facing features with React.js and implement backend services with Node.js and Express.js
- Create and manage databases using MongoDB
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and security of applications
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to ship features
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architecture discussions
- Implement core services such as caching, logging, and monitoring
- Work in an agile environment and contribute to continuous improvement.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development using the MERN stack
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React.js (Angular/Vue.js is a bonus)
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficient in Git and version control workflows
- Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployments
- Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) and testing frameworks
- Knowledge of runtime services like caching, logging, and background jobs
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working in agile development teams.
