About the Role:
Fractal’s VORTEX Program is a strategic initiative aimed at revolutionizing AI-led consulting delivery through codified playbooks, automation, and a culture of continuous improvement. We are seeking a Master Black Belt – VSM Lead who will sit at the intersection of consulting transformation, lean process improvement, and AI enablement. This role will lead enterprise-wide consulting excellence initiatives by embedding value stream thinking into analytics operations, codifying reusable frameworks, and driving automation-led efficiencies at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead value stream mapping (VSM) workshops across analytics and consulting projects to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and streamline delivery.
- Codify consulting best practices into scalable playbooks and toolkits that drive repeatability and speed.
- Translate systemic inefficiencies into automation opportunities using AI/ML (e.g., copilots, dashboards, bots).
- Embed Unit of Value (UoV) definitions and success metrics into delivery engagements to track and maximize business impact.
- Drive future state design and structured implementation plans aligned with consulting and business goals.
- Partner with AI, delivery, and operations teams to integrate intelligent solutions into project lifecycles.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodologies and structured change frameworks.
- Coach delivery teams and SMEs on lean principles, consulting excellence, and agile delivery.
- Standardize workflows and roles across consulting engagements to ensure consistent governance and consulting readiness.
- Track and report success metrics such as reuse %, time-to-value, delivery satisfaction, and automation ROI.
- Capture and disseminate knowledge in the form of domain-specific frameworks
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in consulting operations, analytics delivery, or transformation roles.
- Master Black Belt or Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma required.
- Proven experience leading VSM and Lean transformation in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Strong understanding of analytics processes, data pipelines, and consulting project structures.
- Demonstrated capability to integrate AI and automation into business processes (ML Ops, copilots, automation tools).
- Skilled in agile delivery, structured problem-solving, and process optimization frameworks.
- Excellent workshop facilitation, stakeholder alignment, and storytelling abilities.
- Background in CPG and analytics preferred.
