Maker Lab’s cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies — from measurement & analytics to content production.
Role Summary:
Maker Lab supports clients across technology, entertainment, financial services and the payments industry. We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing clients in the tech industry. This role functions as the operational Command Centre for the Direct Response program. The specialist is responsible for managing multi-channel investment across the entire digital ecosystem, ensuring all activity is balanced, paced, and performing optimally. They serve as the critical bridge between high-level strategy and the technical execution delivered by agency partners across all major digital touchpoints, driving operational excellence by defining the methods and timelines ("the how and the when") for strategic implementation.
This role requires you to work in an APAC-friendly time zone, starting at 5:30 a.m. IST.
Role:
- Translate high-level product strategies into comprehensive and actionable media briefs, serving as the central point of contact for media agency activation and operations teams to ensure flawless campaign execution.
- Develop and manage multi-channel traffic and conversion forecasts, continually monitor real-time investment pacing, and identify opportunities for optimisation or anomaly resolution. This includes proactively tracking GStore inventory and flagging out-of-stock (OOS) risks.
- Own the roadmap for the Learning Agenda, coordinating the execution of A/B testing, experimentation, and creative refreshes with agency partners, and ensuring all results are meticulously documented and integrated into the overarching strategy.
- Consolidate complex performance data across the digital stack to create a clear, data-driven narrative on traffic and sales performance. Establish a regular Direct Response (DR) reporting cadence for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, providing key learnings and strategic recommendations.
- Drive operational excellence by defining methods and timelines for strategic implementation and ensuring seamless coordination among product, marketing, and sales teams.
- Ensure all digital marketing activities comply with internal policies, privacy regulations, and brand safety guidelines.
You:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in Performance Marketing or Paid Media Operations, with a documented track record of driving bottom-of-funnel conversions (sales/activations).
- Hands-on experience or deep oversight of performance media buying via platforms like Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube).
- Experience designing and managing structured Learning Agendas (A/B testing, incrementality testing).
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and the ability to synthesise raw data into performance narratives.
- Proven ability to manage complex forecasting and budget pacing for high-spend accounts.
- Experience working directly with media agencies, including writing briefs and holding teams accountable to KPIs and pacing.
