The Market & Sales Intelligence Analyst is an integral part of the Customer Insights team, playing a vital role in shaping Civica’s market, sales, and growth strategies. In this dynamic role, you'll gather, analyze, and convert insights from key platforms such as Stotles, Demandbase, LinkedIn, and various secondary research sources into actionable intelligence for our sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
This position is crucial for creating high-quality, intelligence-driven leads and bolstering pipeline generation across Civica’s diverse product portfolio. Your typical day will involve diving deep into research on Civica’s offerings and priority markets, while leveraging platforms like Stotles, Demandbase, and LinkedIn to gather valuable intelligence on accounts and pinpoint key decision-makers.
You will assess and analyze this information to identify meaningful opportunities, craft concise insights, and generate top-notch leads in Salesforce that include precise contact and opportunity details. Additionally, your role will involve collaborating closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Insights teams to enhance targeting and support efforts in building a robust sales pipeline.
What you will bring to be successful in this role
- Strong expertise in market intelligence, secondary research, and sales intelligence methodologies
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data from multiple market intelligence platforms
- Ability to identify and validate sales contacts using tools like LinkedIn and Demandbase
- High proficiency in organising and structuring information into clear insights
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce) and understanding of lead creation processes
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to summarise insights clearly for non‑technical stakeholders
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Prior experience in lead generation, sales research, or commercial insight roles is highly desirable
Your Key responsibilities include:
- Gather, extract, and analyse data from platforms such as Stotles, Demandbase, LinkedIn, and other market intelligence sources.
- Conduct secondary research to produce concise insights on industries, segments, accounts, and market trends.
- Identify decision‑makers and influencers through LinkedIn, Demandbase, and other tools to support sales targeting.
- Create, enrich, and maintain sales-ready leads in Salesforce, ensuring data completeness and accuracy.
- Develop short insight summaries, opportunity profiles, and prioritised account lists for Sales and Marketing teams.
- Support the creation of market and industry intelligence reports as part of Civica’s research pipeline.
- Collaborate with Customer Insights, Sales, Marketing, and RevOps teams to align intelligence with commercial priorities.
- Track the performance and impact of intelligence‑generated leads on pipeline contribution.
