The Manager, Travel & Expense will oversee the Concur T&E System for IPG’s operating units, manage team relationships, support reporting development, communicate vital information to senior management, and explore process efficiencies. They will also participate in training and review metrics.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage and further develop the Concur T&E System for IPG’s operating units.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the relationship between IPG Agencies, Concur Team, and Concur Technologies
- Develop Concur and its reporting to support IPG’s SP&P
- Manage the Shared Services Concur T&E team
- Further develop and communication Concur T&E information to IPG agencies’ senior management
- Manage the IPG Concur development direction and migrants from the business side
- Explore any efficiency that can be gained by looking at current processes
- Participate in all SOX training for the Concur system
- Review all metrics for T&E
- Regular and reliable attendance required
- Ability to work onsite in an office environment with limited remote work alternatives, consistent with applicable law
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of work experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end P2P process for Media and Advertising industry
- Three to five years in a supervisory role is a must
- Experience with Project Management is required
- Experience working in a Shared Services Centre focused on Finance & Accounting activities
- Must possess strong decision making skills, and be able to think on your fee
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed
