As the Manager of Technical Operations, you will oversee the Technical Operations Team Leads and their respective teams, ensuring efficient IT support and smooth operations across multiple regions. You will collaborate closely with the Global Technical Operations Manager to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance IT service delivery and operational efficiency. Your role will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement, managing complex technical projects, and ensuring alignment with global IT strategies.

Job Duties

  • Supervise and mentor Team Leads, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team management and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Global Technical Operations Manager to develop and execute IT strategies and initiatives.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT support teams, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Lead complex technical projects, including infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, and process improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper documentation of issues, resolutions, and updates in the tracking system.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to Team Leads and their teams.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the IT support teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT support and security.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
  • Prepare and present reports on IT support performance, project progress, and strategic initiatives to senior management.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in IT support or related roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and networking concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and IT support ticketing systems.
  • Experience in managing complex technical projects and strategic initiatives.

  • Working Conditions:

  • This position is full-time in office, based in Thane, India, requiring 5 days a week in the office. The Manager may be required to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones or urgent situations.
