Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead distributed engineering teams (onsite/offshore, employees & contractors) and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture.
- Own end-to-end delivery of business-critical applications across the full SDLC.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure predictable delivery by managing risks, dependencies, and clear status communication.
- Maintain application health, reliability, and incident management with strong root-cause focus.
- Drive engineering excellence through modern practices (CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation, APIs).
- Provide technical leadership in architecture, design, and scalable solution development.
- Promote quality-first and security-first approaches with shift-left testing practices.
- Strengthen partnerships across a global, matrixed organization.
- Continuously improve engineering standards, team effectiveness, and delivery outcomes.
Work Experience:
- 10+ years in application development, including 3+ years leading and mentoring engineering teams in an enterprise environment.
- Relevant certifications in Azure, ITIL, or security are a plus
- Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, C#, SQL, and modern web application development; experience with Angular/SPAs and ASP.NET front ends is helpful.
- Proven success leading distributed teams, including onshore and offshore delivery models, and developing high-performing engineers through growth and change.
- Experience building and consuming APIs and working with modern integration approaches, including RESTful services, messaging, and event-driven patterns.
- Deep familiarity with modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, shift-left quality, and security-by-design.
- Experience with application support, incident management, and delivery approaches such as Agile, working effectively with product and business stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in Azure, ITIL, or security are a plus.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
