Role summary We are seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives that modernize our reporting and analytics products, strengthen data governance, and deliver measurable business outcomes. You will own end-to-end delivery across discovery, planning, execution, and stabilization, partnering with business stakeholders, data engineering, BI, risk, and controls to improve data freshness, granularity, user experience, and regulatory compliance.

Team mission The Reporting & Analytics team delivers trusted, timely insights through self-service dashboards, standardized reports, and advanced analytics. We focus on intraday visibility, product uplift, resiliency, and compliance-grade governance to enable proactive decision-making.

Key responsibilities

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex data initiatives and drive them to successful completion.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at the executive level.
  • Delivery leadership: Define scope, outcomes, milestones, and critical paths for reporting/analytics initiatives; build integrated plans spanning data ingestion, modeling, semantic layers, and BI delivery.
  • Execution and governance: Run cadence (standups, status, steering), maintain RAID logs, manage change requests, and drive Go/No-Go gates with clear entry/exit criteria.
  • Data readiness and quality: Coordinate data contracts, lineage, and DQ SLAs; ensure entitlements, row/column-level security, and auditability are embedded in reporting workflows.
  • Product uplift and UX: Partner with product owners and designers to deliver role-based, self-service dashboards, drill-through to transaction detail, and mobile access; instrument usage analytics for adoption.
  • Regulatory and controls: Embed control evidence, retention, attestation, and audit trails; align deliverables to evolving regulatory requirements and policy standards.
  • Platform and migrations: Plan and execute migration of legacy reports/pipelines to target platforms; oversee decommissioning and dual-running minimization; validate performance, RPO/RTO, and resiliency dashboards.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Facilitate decisions across business, finance, risk, operations, and technology; produce executive-ready materials and transparent updates.
  • Financials and benefits: Track budgets and vendor spend; quantify value (cost-to-serve reductions, risk avoidance, productivity gains); lead post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of project or program management leading data, BI, or analytics deliveries in complex environments.
  • Hands-on experience with reporting product lifecycles: intake, backlog management, UX design, data modeling, testing, release, and adoption.
  • Strong knowledge of data and analytics concepts: data pipelines, semantic models, lineage, DQ controls, entitlements, and auditability.
  • Familiarity with BI platforms and cloud data services (e.g., Power BI/Tableau/Qlik; AWS/Azure data stacks) and performance optimization for high-concurrency dashboards.
  • Proven stakeholder management and executive communication skills; ability to drive decisions and remove blockers.
  • Governance orientation with experience in regulatory reporting or control frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, or SAFe certifications are a plus.

Core competencies

  • Outcome-oriented planning and structured execution
  • Risk management, problem-solving, and escalation control
  • Data-driven decision-making and benefits realization
  • Executive communication and negotiation
  • Cross-functional collaboration across business, data, and tech
  • Adaptability across Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall methods
