Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with various departments to define critical business functions and recovery strategies.
- Lead and manage recovery teams during disruptions.
- Organize and conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of recovery plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global events and changing circumstances that could impact business operations.
- Train staff and management on their roles and responsibilities in the event of a disruption.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of recovery and continuity initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 22301).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of risk management and business continuity standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and business impact analyses.
- Certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar are a plus.
- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
