Automation Specialist with 4-5 years of experience to join the Operational Excellence team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using various automation tools such as Python, KNIME & Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. As an Automation Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions that empower our organization to achieve its goals efficiently.

Location – Mumbai

Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and use your expertise in automation to develop flows/ scripts that can enable or carry out certain automated actions.
• Create power Automate flows based on various triggers.
• Integration with other apps. (model driven, canvas app)
• Create and trigger Adaptive cards via MS Teams / Outlook using Power Automate & Power BI APIs
• Record/Replace data in a DB/ Sharepoint List using PowerApps & Power Automate
• Work with multiple / different data formats – Ability to establish connection with SharePoint, REST APIs, DBs, Dataflows, etc
• Understanding of Power BI dataflows
• Identify the data limitations and propose solutions accordingly.
• Building applications/flows using python to automate processes.
• Coordinate with development teams to develop RESTful web services.
• Write unit test cases for the developed code.
• Participate in UAT, and diagnose & troubleshoot, bugs and application integration issues.
• Write reusable, effective, as well as scalable Python code.
• Architecting and building applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructureWrite well-documented and clean code.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• 4-5 years of experience working as Automation Consultant or in a similar role
• Expert-level proficiency in Python
• Familiarity with common databases (RDBMS such as MySQL & NoSQL such as MongoDB)
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming techniques
• Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end
• Performance optimization and multithreading concepts
• Some background in containerization tools like Docker is appreciated.
• In addition, the ideal candidate would have great problem-solving skills, and familiarity with code versioning tools such as GitHub
• Understanding of REST concepts and building/interacting with REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of Power Automate, and creating PowerApps
• Knowledge and understanding of Power BI APIs, Dataflows & Power Query Editor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Must have skills:

Python, Power Automate, PowerApps, working with REST APIs & Power BI API, SQL, Dataflow, Power Query Editor.
