Provide legal support for Hindi GEC business including contract negotiation, advice on legal issues, managing documentation, and assisting senior legal members.
* Job Summary
Be a part of the Entertainment business legal team and provide legal support on channels assigned.
* Key Responsibilities
· Contract negotiation & finalization – review and finalize multiple categories of contracts for Hindi GEC business including content licensing, production agreements, artist agreements, consultants/retainer/ service provider and marketing arrangements etc.
· Assist and advise business and commercial team(s) regarding various legal issues including IP, content and rights advisory
· Database and Inventory Management- Conduct due diligence, rights check and maintain internal documentation
· Assisting senior legal members for streamlining legal processes/ SOPs and standardization of legal templates
· Co-ordinate and work with multiple teams within the organization including inter-function and intra-function.
* Key Skills
· Good Communication Skills
· Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
· Good understanding of media related laws including Copyright Act, Trademarks Act
· Prior relevant experience with media & entertainment organization.
* Preferred Education & Experience
· LLB Graduate
· 6-8 years post qualification experience
· Experience of working in media industry/ media companies/ production houses/ music label is preferred
