Job Title: Manager - Investment Data Services

Sub Function: Investment Data Services
Location: Mumbai
Shift: UK hours
Job Purpose: To manage Fund Master roles within Investment Operations, ensuring accurate, complete, and compliant fund-related data. This role supports data governance, reconciliation, and distribution of fund data across internal systems and external stakeholders through effective use of Fundipedia.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain fund master data (e.g., fund name, share class, ISIN, benchmarks) in Fundipedia.
Use Fundipedia’s automated tools to reconcile data across vendors and internal systems.
Ensure fund data meets regulatory standards (e.g., MiFID II, PRIIPs, SFDR).
Liaise with investment teams, compliance, distribution, and external vendors.
Generate and validate reports for internal use and regulatory submissions.
Support onboarding of new funds and changes to existing fund structures.
Manage day-to-day fund data operations in Fundipedia.
Ensure timely updates and accuracy of fund attributes.
Perform reconciliations and resolve data discrepancies.
Coordinate with Fundipedia support and internal IT for issue resolution.
Support AVP in project execution and stakeholder communication.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong understanding of fund structures, share classes, and investment products.
Hands-on experience with Fundipedia or similar EDM platforms.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID II).
Familiarity with data reconciliation, data dictionaries, and audit trails.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools is a plus.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional initiatives.
Experience & Qualifications:
5 - 7 years of experience in investment operations or data services
5+ years in leadership roles focused on data quality and servicing
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Data Science, or related fields
Certifications like CFA, FRM, or Data Management certifications preferred
