Job Summary: The role requires understanding business needs, translating them into functional requirements, and ensuring system solutions align with business processes and objectives. To act as a bridge and liaise between business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, engineering & vendor teams. Ensure seamless Business Operations and Compliance adherence. Would be responsible for both implementing functional & system requirements and managing end-to-end project planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring delivery on time, within scope. This role requires a balance of functional analysis expertise, project execution, Business operations, and strong stakeholder management.
Key responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and use cases
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA to ensure accurate system implementation
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Support system design, configuration, and testing activities
- Validate solutions through functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Maintain documentation such as process flows, functional specs, and data mappings
- Provide support during system rollout and post-implementation phases
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned applications or systems
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate internal and external resources
- Ensure seamless Business Operations and Compliance adherence
- Ensure adherence to organizational processes and governance standards
- Manage change requests and scope adjustments
Skills and attributes for success:
- Strong understanding of SDLC, system integrations, and enterprise applications
- Excellent requirements elicitation and documentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Project Management or similar role
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Domain knowledge relevant to the business
- Experience working in matrixed or cross-functional environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities
Preferred education and experience:
- Graduation with a technical background and 8–11 years of relevant experience
