BIG PICTURE:
We are searching for an exceptionally skilled Lead Editor to help us create scripted drama series! We have an awesome team of screenwriters, casting associates, directors and shooters so this role would require performing all the technical aspects of editing a film. The ideal candidate has strong experience with editing youtube style content and knows how to build emotion, create tension and increase the overall entertainment value of each film in conjunction with our creative producers. Our production cycles are fast-paced and mission-driven. While we strive for a healthy work-life balance, the nature of our high-impact delivery schedule occasionally requires evening or weekend work. We are looking for a dedicated collaborator who thrives in a dynamic environment and is motivated by seeing their work inspire a global audience.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
- Editing in a creative way to help build emotion, increase tension and deliver greater payoff of the message for the audience
- Adding subtitles and branding to all videos and ensuring all final files are complete and organized
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- 5-10 Years experience editing for industry-leading YouTube or Streaming Channels
- High level understanding of how to edit content specifically for YouTube
- High level experience with editing narrative work
- Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite with a focus in Premiere
- Demonstrated video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment on a wide variety of projects
- Ability to learn quickly and is a team player
- Skilled in handling quick output without losing quality
WHO OVERSEES YOU:
The Editor reports directly to the Post Manager
WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:
Our Editor will work remotely from home or personal office and will be required to utilize Changing Lives Productions time tracking software to log and submit work hours
WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:
The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, with schedule flexibility. Will be discussed in depth during the interview
