The VFX Line Producer is a key member responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a project's production pipeline, ensuring it runs efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. This role often serves as the primary liaison between the internal creative teams and the cross-site teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the VFX pipeline, excellent organizational skills, and proven experience managing complex projects and large teams.

You will be reporting directly to the local Head of Production and to the Associate Producer of the shows you will be assigned to. As a Line Producer, you will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, milestones, and delivery deadlines in collaboration with the Creative Team as well as the show Production Teams.

  • Monitor progress of all VFX shots, sequences, and assets daily, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks or schedule conflicts.

  • Manage shot tracking database with the help of the show coordinators, ensuring data accuracy and reporting clarity..

  • Anticipate and efficiently communicate idle scenarios and resource flags to the Associate Producer and the cross-site Production Teams

  • Ensure the show coordinators are keeping a track of the timelogs for their respective departments.

  • Generate regular reports and forecasts for the Head of Production and Senior show Production teams, highlighting risks and opportunities.

  • Review and communicate render priorities with the relevant stakeholders

  • Work with the senior members of production to plan daily tasks and prioritize work as requested

  • Lead and mentor the internal Production team (Coordinators and PAs).

  • Schedule and run weekly production meetings, distributing clear action items and summaries.

  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding of project personnel, managing access and resource allocation.

  • Other ad hoc duties as may reasonably be expected

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in VFX production, with at least 2 years in a Line Producer or Senior Production roles.

  • In-depth understanding of the entire VFX pipeline

  • Strong knowledge of ShotGrid, MS Office and Google Suite.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced workflows and prioritize conflicting tasks.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
