Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Research and analysis
- Assistance with resolution of regulatory matters
- Run and manage various committees, including preparation of agenda, minutes, and presentations in coordination with other legal department members
- Expertise with end-to-end administration of vendor contracts
- Draft and review wide range of contracts
- Corporate governance and entity management
- Assistance in coordination with other legal team members with maintenance of various department processes and tasks including legal matter administration, signing processes and contract management.
- Assistance with administration of regulatory matters in coordination with legal leadership
- Assist in preparing reports and summaries
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma Required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Three (3)+ Years relevant legal experience and willingness to learn
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to exercise discretion and use independent judgment related to significant departmental, business, and legal matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions
- Demonstrated advanced-level Microsoft Office Suite skills and other software and PC skills
- Ability to review and analyze data and reports
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday
- This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of their workday
- This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as, incoming and outgoing communications via the computer and/ or mobile devices
- The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to clients and other associates
