About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Wealth Underwriting Assistant. In this role, you will: Support performance and overall effectiveness of a team and cross-group administrative operations within Wealth Underwriting functional area Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools with functional area impact Perform or guide others on complex tasks or initiatives within Wealth Underwriting functional area that require planning, evaluation and interpretation Prioritize work and provide day to day leadership and mentorship to a Wealth Underwriting team Lead or contribute to implementation of new or revised processes and procedures that require coordination among multiple teams Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to an immediate team and Wealth Underwriting functional area on a wide range of information Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Wealth Underwriting support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualification Analyze commercial real estate operating statements, rent rolls, and property performance data. Review financial statements, tax returns, K-1s, and related documentation to assess borrower financial strength and repayment capacity. Evaluate collateral quality, market conditions, and credit risk factors to support underwriting decisions. Review lease agreements and prepare lease abstractions, extracting key financial and contractual terms. Support lending and portfolio management teams through documentation review, data validation, and reporting. Conduct portfolio monitoring, quality assurance reviews, borrower assessments, and risk reporting activities. Perform compliance-related reviews, including OFAC, PEP, sanctions, and credit bureau checks. Maintain accurate credit system records and ensure data quality across lending platforms.
