Job Title: Lead Technologist - Private Markets & Alternative Investments

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technologist-Private Markets & Alternative Investments to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of private markets and alternative investments, including but not limited to Private Equity, Private Credit/Debt, Infrastructure, Private Real Estate, and Hedge Funds along with a strong background in technology and innovation. This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of technology solutions that enhance our investment processes and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions for private markets and alternative investments.
- Collaborate with internal Investment, Operations, Legal and other stakeholder teams to understand their needs and develop technology strategies that support their objectives.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems, ensuring seamless operation and minimal disruption.
- Manage a team of technologists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our investment processes and recommending appropriate actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external technology vendors and partners.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in all technology initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in technology leadership roles within the financial services industry, with a focus on private markets and alternative investments.
- Strong understanding of investment processes and the unique challenges associated with private markets and alternative investments.
- Proven track record of successfully leading technology projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud computing, data analytics, and other advanced technologies relevant to the financial services industry.
