As a Lead Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for originating sales by positioning Baker Hughes technology and identifying the best technical and commercial solution. You'll promote the business value proposition of Baker Hughes technology. You will work in close cooperation with regional sales, account sales and commercial proposal staff. Your primary technical role involved in DTI (demand to inquiry) will aim at increasing market penetration through technical support during pre-ITO.
 

As a Technical Sales, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Handling products and systems requiring technical knowledge. Some customization within guidelines can be done.
  • Contributing to frameworks for prices and conditions. There is room for negotiating and client specific conditions.
  • Handling diverse clients in a region. Cooperates with (technical) sales support to realize sales.
  • Leading a department with large estimated orders. Handles local focus on Medium size territory

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sales)
  • Have a Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Technical Sales.
  • Have Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams
  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Have Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
