C.N.M. SCHOOL & N. D. PAREKH PRE-PRIMARY SCHOOL was the first English medium school started by SVKM in 1997. It was the dream project of Late Shri Mukeshbhai Patel, since SVKM was running several colleges but had only one vernacular medium school.

His Mission was taken forward by Shri Balwantrai Sheth and Shri Vivek Vaidya. Mrs. Lata Munjal was the first Principal of the institution. Under the valuable guidance and support of Shri Amrishbhai Patel CNM school has achieved great progress in the field of academics and sports.The state of the art infrastructure has been planned and developed under the able guidance of Shri Bhupeshbhai Patel.

The school started with 25 students, 1 teacher and 1 support staff in a small place at Gokhalibai School,Vile Parle on June 1997. The school had only a Junior KG section with Mrs. Cheryl Mukath as their teacher.

The very next year the strength of the school grew to 154 students and by 2005 the strength was 3975 with eight divisions in each standard from nursery to standard Ten. After two years of its inception in 1999 the school got its new building, with the latest amenities for the students. The first batch of ICSE students passed out in 2003 with 22 students.

Mrs. Girija Mohan took over as the Principal from 2006 under whose stewardship, the school grew from strength to strength. In 2015, Mrs. Sangita Kukreti took over and the academics of the school got further cemented with latest technologies and new developments. In 2019, Mrs. Kavita Sanghvi stepped into the role of the Principal and introduced new concepts like ‘STEAM’, ‘Coding’ & ‘Global Outlook’ within the curriculum.Today there are 3131 students, 175 teaching staff, 12 office staff and 20 support staff who run the school with remarkable efficiency and dedication.

The school offers a modern, holistic and integrated system of education that moulds its students into free thinkers who can easily function as global citizens.
