Role Overview: 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sports Business Development Manager to expand our market presence and drive growth within the sports industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports, possess strong relationship-building skills, and have a proven track record in business development. 

Key Responsibilities: 

•    Strategic Partnerships: 

Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the sports industry, including:  

1. National and state-level sports federations and teams 
2. Private sports clubs 
3. Sports training academies 
4. Sporting goods manufacturers 
5. Sports nutritionists and physiotherapists 
6. Semi-professional and hobby sports clubs 
7. Inter-college sports organizations 

•    Business Development: 

1. Develop and implement effective business development strategies to secure partnerships and drive sales. 
2. Negotiate favorable contracts and agreements with potential clients. 
3. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted marketing campaigns and promotions. 
4. Organize and participate in industry events, conferences, and exhibitions. 

•    Product Promotion: 

1. Position our products as essential tools for athletes and sports organizations. 
2. Develop and execute innovative product demonstrations and trials. 
3. Offer incentives and discounts to encourage product adoption and usage. 
4. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must have :

• Proven track record in sports business development or sales
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong understanding of the sports industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities. 

Good to have:

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
