The Physical Security Specialist (P3) is responsible for implementing and enhancing physical security operations at the site. This role focuses on risk mitigation, compliance, incident response, and vendor/guard force management to ensure a secure environment aligned with Micron's global standards.

Role Overview
The Physical Security Specialist (P3) is responsible for implementing and enhancing physical security operations at the site. This role focuses on risk mitigation, compliance, incident response, and vendor/guard force management to ensure a secure environment aligned with Micron's global standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Security Operations Management
- Be responsible for day-to-day physical security operations across site (access control, CCTV, perimeter security).
- Ensure effective deployment and supervision of contract security guard force.
- Conduct regular site patrols and vulnerability assessments.
2. Risk Assessment & Mitigation
- Continuously assess security risks in construction and manufacturing phases.
- Identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Support development and execution of site-specific security plans.
3. Incident Management
- Lead and coordinate response to security incidents (theft, breach, safety/security violations).
- Conduct investigations and prepare incident reports with root cause and corrective actions.
- Ensure timely customer concern to leadership and multi-functional stakeholders.
4. Compliance & Policy Enforcement
- Ensure adherence to Micron security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits of guard force performance, access control compliance, and PPE/security protocols.
- Support implementation of global security standards at site level.
5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Handle contract security vendors and ensure SLA consistency.
- Conduct regular training and briefing sessions for guard force.
- Collaborate with Facilities, EHS, HR, IT, and Project teams.
6. Technology & Systems
- Support implementation and optimization of:
- CCTV and surveillance systems
- Access control systems
- Visitor management systems
- Ensure proper usage and monitoring of security technologies.
7. Business Continuity & Emergency Response
- Support BCP planning and execution for site security scenarios.
- Participate in emergency drills (fire, evacuation, civil unrest, etc.).
- Ensure readiness for high-risk scenarios (protests, insider threats, theft).
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Engineering, or related field
Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in physical security operations
- Experience in:
- Industrial / manufacturing / construction environments (highly preferred)
- Handling contract security guard force
- Incident investigation and reporting

- Leadership and team management (especially vendor workforce)
- High attention to detail and compliance focus
- Effective communication (with leadership and frontline teams)

- Familiarity with access control, CCTV, and security technologies
- Basic understanding of IT/data protection implications in physical security
- Preferably relevant security certifications - CPP,PSP
