Job Description

Delivery


  • Day to day leadership, and delivery responsibility for, a technical project workstream, potentially managing other colleagues
  • Demonstrates leadership by organising the workloads of others and communicating effectively between the development team and the colleagues managing the client project
  • Adopts a flexible approach to completing workload to ensure delivery within agreed timeframes
  • Completes, and maintains, up-to-date, accurate and thorough technical documentation covering areas of project responsibility
  • Ensures that the technical solution is implemented according to technical design and standards/best practices
  • Anticipates and reports delivery issues associated with workstream deliverables, clearly and at the earliest possible opportunity, to Project Manager and senior engineering project member
  • Develops and applies knowledge of Web technologies on client projects
  • Unit tests code and delivers high quality work to agreed deadlines
  • Conducts self, and communicates, professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Provides feedback for team members where appropriate as agreed with Project Manager

  • Communicates technical ideas and industry trends to colleagues through informal communication and formal presentations and training sessions
  • Mentors junior colleagues on an informal basis offering opinions and input in a supportive manner
  • Attends weekly technical meeting
  • Makes use of appropriate research materials (Internet, publications etc) to ensure skills and knowledge remain current
  • Maintains an up to date resume detailing client project experience
  • Maximises billable hours through making oneself available for client work. Makes the best use of non-billable hours by working on internal initiatives, business development and self-development.


Qualifications and Experience


  • Must have knowledge of NextJS and ReactJS (preferred Next 13 and Latest ReactJS)
  • Must be familiar with concept of micro-frontends
  • Should be able to convert wireframes and designs into high-quality shippable code
  • Strong Knowledge of basic frontend tech like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Experience with CSS pre-processing using tools like SASS, LESS etc
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS will be added advantage
  • Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming in JavaScript
  • Knowledge of any other popular JS framework like Backbone, Angular, Vue is a plus
  • Experience with frontend development tools such as Babel, Webpack, Gulp, Grunt, NPM etc. 
  • Should be comfortable with Concertful APIs, data modelling and content creation
  • Should be able to understand and utilize data formats like JSON, XML etc.
  • Working experience with Integrating / Consuming RESTful APIs
  • Working experience with version control tools like Git, Bitbucket, SVN etc
  • Experience in writing unit tests
  • Knowledge of SEO, accessibility, performance optimization and responsive web
  • Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, & design constraints on the web.
  • Experience in implementing monitoring, analytics and tracking tools Google Analytics
  • Develop reusable, maintainable cross-platform frontend web application components while adhering to web and team standards.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements


In addition, the following would be beneficial:

  • Exposure to one or more of the following enterprise eCommerce or CMS solutions such as EPiServer, Sitecore, AEM
  • Setting up build and deployment pipeline using CI tools like bamboo, AWS etc
