Lead Developer to design and implement responsive React/Next.js frontends and Node.js backends, build RESTful APIs, integrate SQL/NoSQL databases, write unit tests, optimize performance, enforce security best practices, use Git, document code, and collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver scalable web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Frontend Development: Develop user-friendly and responsive web interfaces using React and Next.js.
- Backend Development: Build and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Database Integration: Work with various databases, both SQL and NoSQL, to store and retrieve data efficiently.
- API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the frontend and backend components.
- Code Optimization: Continuously improve application performance and ensure the scalability of web applications.
- Code Testing: Write unit tests and perform debugging to ensure the reliability and robustness of the codebase.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet client expectations.
- Documentation: Document code and technical specifications to facilitate future maintenance and upgrades.
- Version Control: Utilize version control systems, such as Git, to manage and track code changes effectively.
- Security: Implement security best practices to protect data and prevent vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, with 5+ years of experience in related field .
- Proven experience in developing web applications using Node.js, React, and Next.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
- Experience with database systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux or Mobx is a plus.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality code.
