Own end-to-end demand planning and monthly S&OP for D2C, quick commerce, and modern trade channels. Develop statistical and promotional forecasts, integrate sales and marketing inputs, lead consensus meetings, analyze forecast accuracy and bias, identify risks and opportunities, and improve forecasting processes, models, and planning tools as the company scales.
Role: Lead – Demand Planning & S&OP
About the company:
At The Whole Truth, our mission is to ‘re-build the world’s trust in its food’. Consumers have lost faith in big
food companies that hide behind misleading claims. We exist to change that—with honesty, simplicity, and
unmissable storytelling.
We are India’s first (and maybe only) 100% Clean Label food brand. That means we proudly declare every
single ingredient on the front of the pack. But that’s not all…We don’t just make products. We build brand
love. Loudly, proudly, and consistently—through content, community, and creative campaigns that break
clutter. And now, we’re ready to scale that brand love even further—through smart, memorable, and wellplaced
media. That’s where you come in.
Role Overview:
The Lead – Demand Planning & S&OP will own end-to-end consensus forecasting, market demand intelligence
integration, and the executive S&OP orchestration at The Whole Truth (TWT). This role is critical for driving
forecast accuracy across fast-growing channels (D2C, Quick Commerce, Modern Trade) and ensuring
marketing/sales initiatives translate into actionable operational plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. S&OP Ownership: Develop, implement, and orchestrate the monthly S&OP consensus cycle across
Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align on volume and revenue projections.
2. Demand Forecasting: Build and refine statistical baseline and promotional demand models across all
product categories and sales channels (D2C, Quick Commerce dark stores, Modern Trade, GT).
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Brand Marketing, and Growth teams to
integrate commercial insights, promotional calendars, new product launch (NPI) projections, and
market intelligence into rolling forecasts.
4. Demand Analytics & KPIs: Track, analyze, and continuously improve key demand metrics including
Forecast Accuracy (MAPE/FA), Forecast Bias, and channel sell-through dynamics to optimize inventory
availability.
5. Channel Consensus: Facilitate monthly S&OP consensus meetings to present unconstrained and
constrained demand plans, highlighting key risks, demand upside opportunities, and gap
reconciliations.
6. Continuous Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in forecasting
techniques, statistical modeling, and tools to scale the S&OP maturity model as TWT grows.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Deep knowledge of S&OP frameworks, statistical demand modeling, and channel-level demand
planning methodologies in FMCG/D2C.
2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or
a related field.
3. 4–7 years of proven experience in demand planning, sales forecasting, or S&OP orchestration in fastmoving
consumer environments.
4. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex commercial data and
translate it into actionable inventory signals.
5. High proficiency with advanced Excel, BI reporting tools, and S&OP software systems.
The Edge:
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL, R, or Python for automated statistical forecasting and data manipulation.
• Prior experience implementing or managing dedicated planning platforms or scaling S&OP from
scratch in a high-growth brand
