Lead workshops to gather business requirements, manage stakeholder relationships, and guide solutions for telecommunications industry clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Primary:
- Lead and facilitate workshops to gather, validate and refine business and functional requirements
- Foster strong relationship with client stakeholders by understanding their pain points and business needs
- Drive clarity in complex problem spaces and navigate ambiguity to guide stakeholders towards actionable problem statements
- Actively manage customer engagement and expectations throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment on scope, priorities and deliverables
- Translates business requirements to technical requirements while balancing them between what’s technically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders by providing sound consulting guidance related to best practices and industry standards adoption
Secondary:
- Dive deep into the telecommunications industry to build expertise across markets, products, sales, delivery and operations
- Contribute to the quote-to-billing solution design including product catalog definition, the pricing and costing structure
- Design high-level business processes aligned with end-to-end fulfilment journey of telco products
- Liaise with technical teams to ensure technical design and solution configurations are aligned with business requirements
- Support system integrations across the quote-to-billing journey
- Coach and mentor junior analysts to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables across the team
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the BA methodology and toolkit
- Ability to use exceptional communication skills to manage client expectations through workshop and feedback sessions
- Ability to summarise solution proposal including inputs, considerations, and recommendations concisely and accurately to obtain feedback and approvals
- Ability to constructively and confidently challenge client requests that fall outside of scope or viability considering technical feasibility, delivery timelines and cost implications
- Strong telco industry and product knowledge
- Experience in product catalogue, CPQ or order management
- Exposure to TM Forum standards and TM Forum Open APIs
- Experience working in enterprise and/or wholesale telco segments
- Familiar with UI/UX design
