are seeking a seasoned Java Developer with additional expertise in
Python to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should
have 7+ years of professional experience in core Java and be well-versed
in various technologies, including Spring Framework, Kafka, and
MongoDB. This role demands strong analytical skills, a keen eye for
detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative
environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global cross-functional team in building customer-centric software products.
- Analyze
existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and
provide deadline estimates for implementing new features.
- Develop
software applications using core Java (11+), Kafka or messaging
systems, web frameworks like Struts/Spring, relational (Oracle), and
non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB, Hadoop), with RESTful
microservice architecture.
- Implement security and data protection features.
- Update and maintain documentation for team processes, best practices, and software runbooks.
- Collaborate using Git in a multi-developer team.
- Write clean and well-documented code.
- Contribute to database design and management, staying current with the latest practices and versions.
- Establish trusted partnerships with peers, product heads, and executive-level stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience using core Java as a programming language.
- REST Microservice development.
- Proficiency in Java/Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Hazelcast for caching layer and MongoDB for persistence.
- Proficiency with Java 8 or above, including Stream APIs.
- Exposure to Python.
- Understanding of data structures like Array, List, Tree, and Graph.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Familiarity with distributed cache systems (Hazelcast or Redis).
- Awareness of Agile methodology.
- Experience with RDBMS for occasional persistence tasks.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture with interservice communication using proprietary messaging services.
