The IT Business Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to
- identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
- • Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
- • Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
- • Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
- • Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
- • Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
- Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by
- precedents
- • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- • Analyze business client needs, document requirements, define and analyze enhancements and derive test cases
- • Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions
- • Generate and compile reports based on findings, including probable causes and potential solutions to systems issues
- • Identify risk and consider business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
- • Assist in redesigning business processes and perform other duties and functions as assigned
- • Filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources
- • Strong stakeholder management skills across business and partner technology teams.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and
- implementing solutions.
- • Working closely with clients, technical teams, and managerial staff.
- • Propose recommendations for feasible automation solutions.
- • Adept in design document preparation like AS IS, TO BE, user stories, SDD etc.
- • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
- • Provide impact analysis and effort estimates.
- • Strong knowledge in Software Development Lifecycle, Release and Change Management.
- Experience on s/w design patterns and architecture, ETL, SQL, design thinking, automation tools, Connectivity protocols, API
- etc.

Qualifications:
• 10 -12 years of relevant Development experience with business analysis or systems analysis(Dev cum BA More)
• Knowledge of business analysis procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of other technical areas
• Proven analytical, inerpersonal and organizational skills
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects in the stream simultaneously
• Consistently approach work methodically with attention to detail
• High attention to detail with excellent prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently given general guidance.
• Strong problem solving, analysis, and design skills
Experience on s/w design patterns and architecture, ETL, SQL, design thinking, automation tools, Connectivity protocols, API
etc.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
