Roles and Responsibilities
Hands-on experience in Fixed Income Dealing i.e ability to buy/sell securities by proper price discovery, maintaining good
Good rapport with brokers and correct valuation of bonds.
Credit and macroeconomic analysis, along with their impact on our portfolio.
Gather data from various public sources, government websites and economic databases. Analysis of large datasets to identify patterns, trends & themes.
Should be abreast with the latest developments in the market, both domestic and overseas.
Write short notes/commentary for internal presentations.
Good understanding of all the fixed income products
Should understand the various limits prescribed by IRDAI
Qualifications
Post-Graduate in Economics/Finance.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Progress towards CFA is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to write reports and comment on market developments.
