Description

We are seeking an experienced International Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our global logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in handling logistics for high-value goods within international markets, particularly in Asia, Europe, the USA, and UAE, with an in-depth understanding of logistics partner selection, regulatory compliance, and EXIM laws.

This role will ensure smooth and compliant operations, critical for the secure and timely movement of high-value jewellery.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement the global supply chain strategy in alignment with business goals, to service the the various movements (both inbound and outbound) for sourcing, inter company material/product transfers, customer deliveries, retail/wholesale channel, etc.

● Logistics Partner Selection :

Identify, evaluate, and engage top-tier logistics providers specializing in secure, high-value jewellery shipments, and non saleable materials used in retail stores such as props, furniture, technology assets, etc. Negotiate contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, and other logistics service providers keeping the best interests of the company in mind.

● Global Shipment Management :

Manage global shipment activities, ensuring timely and secure international transport with an emphasis on compliance, tracking, and regional coordination. Work closely with colleagues around the world (Europe & USA & UAE & Asia) to ensure EXIM and custom norms are managed and complied with.

● Logistics & Insurance :

Manage product logistics and international shipping documentation, ensuring full insurance compliance, and overseeing and supporting logistics for visual merchandising, events, and shoots.

● Compliance and Legal Oversight :

Ensure full adherence to EXIM laws, customs, and regulatory requirements specific to regions including Asia, Europe, USA, and UAE.

● Risk Management :

Develop risk mitigation strategies to safeguard high-value jewellery during international transport.

● Stakeholder Collaboration :

Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including partners like Ferrari or equivalent providers, to ensure smooth and compliant logistics operations.

Technology & Process Improvement:

Use technology, and data insights to continually optimize supply chain processes and costs.

Team Management & Coordination :

Oversee logistics transactions and coordinate with office managers across various locations to ensure efficient and seamless logistics management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in international logistics, ideally within the jewellery or high-value retail industry.
  • Strong experience with logistics in Asia, Europe, USA, and UAE, with a deep understanding of regional compliance and EXIM laws.
  • Proven ability to manage high-value B2B shipments and develop secure logistics strategies specific to the jewellery industry.
  • Excellent understanding of customs documentation, export/import regulations, and vendor management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on high-value and international logistics.
