Job Description
Infrastructure Architects are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You’re in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You’ll be there from the start of a project — understanding what’s needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you’ll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.
As an Infrastructure Architect, you’ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, you’re the subject matter expert – consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you’re the tech leader for implementation.

The Infrastructure Architect (Azure and AWS) is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cloud-based IT infrastructure of an organization using Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role involves ensuring that all systems, including cloud services, applications, and networks, are integrated and aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
You will create and execute the technical strategy for Azure and AWS infrastructure. Responsible to oversee the design, integration, and management of complex cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure and AWS. You will ensure that cloud services, operating systems, and applications are integrated and aligned with business needs. You will be responsible to conduct research on emerging cloud technologies and recommend solutions to enhance cost-effectiveness and flexibility. Establish policies, procedures, and standards for deploying, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud-based IT systems. You will test cloud architecture and system performance to ensure optimal performance, capacity, and efficiency. Responsible to assist with planning and testing for disaster recovery and business continuity specific to cloud environments. Work closely with cloud engineers, systems administrators, and software engineers to ensure effective integration of cloud IT systems.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

Total IT experience of 12+ Years.

Technical expertise in various cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases on Azure and AWS.

Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Understanding of the organization's goals and strategies to align cloud solutions accordingly.

Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technology trends and advancements.

Capability to lead and mentor IT teams.

Proven experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
