The Specialist, Information Security role is a supportive function whose objective is to assist in the completion of Third-Party Cyber Security assessments, evidence gathers and internal compliance audit support. This role supports both internal client and external Vendor-facing activities. The Information Security Analyst's responsibilities include:

What You'll Do

  • Assist in conducting Security and Technical Architecture Review (STAR) process for new and existing third parties and partners at the project level (onboarding)
  • Support subject matter experts in explaining and documenting the risk management process and timelines
  • Perform initial screening and documentation of potential risks for proposed vendor products/services
  • Assist in scheduling and preparing for periodic reviews of vendor adherence to Amex GBT standards
  • Input and track information in the Amex GBT GRC tool to support vendor review workflow
  • Compile and organize documentation to support risk management plan (RMP) development
  • Support the decommissioning process for vendors during review
  • Collaborate with Information Security team members to gather and compile security-related information
  • Assist in preparing reports and dashboards for the Third-Party Cyber Security team
  • Support contract review processes by organizing and documenting technical terms

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to interact professionally with management and team members
  • Basic understanding of Travel Industry and related travel products
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
  • Information security certifications preferred (e.g., Security+, SSCP)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, with emerging interest in information security compliance
  • Understanding of technical architecture and vendor documentation
  • Support audit-related documentation activities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills in English (Verbal and Written)
  • Familiarity with vendor management concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
