- Industry Technology Specialist – Dairy Technology

Role Summary
- We are looking for an experienced Industry Technology Specialist with a strong background in Dairy Technology to support business growth through technical service, customer engagement, and product application support. The role will work closely with sales and key account teams to help customers develop and improve dairy products using cultures, enzymes, probiotics, and related solutions.
- This position is ideal for a technically strong, customer-focused professional who enjoys fieldwork, troubleshooting, and supporting dairy innovation at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support
Provide technical guidance to customers and internal sales teams on dairy applications, product performance, and process improvement. - Customer Troubleshooting
Act as the main point of contact for technical issues, complaints, and problem-solving at customer sites. - Trials and Applications
Plan and conduct product trials with customers in collaboration with application specialists and account managers. - Business Development Support
Support growth in cultures, enzymes, probiotics, and test kits through technical workshops, demonstrations, and customer visits. - Plant Audits and Line Studies
Conduct customer plant audits and line studies to identify issues and support resolution, including bacteriophage-related challenges. - Training
Train internal teams, distributors, and customers on dairy technologies, best practices, and product usage.
Candidate Profile
- Education
Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Technology, Dairy Science, Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. - Experience
5–8 years of relevant experience in the dairy or food industry, including at least 5 years in a dairy plant, quality, production, product development, or technical support role.
- Skills
- Strong knowledge of dairy processing, fermentation, cultures, and enzymes
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Customer-focused and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel extensively across East India
