Job description
Overall purpose
We are looking for a strong HR Assistant looking to expand their HR career.
This is a generalist role which includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR analytics and Systems.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
  • Support the HR team in the recruitment cycle which includes sourcing candidates, prescreening CVs scheduling with interviews.
  • Preparing of offer packs and employment contracts.
  • Conduct the required checks for prior to onboarding to ensure compliance. (References, Right to Work and DBS)
  • Conduct HR Inductions
  • Provide the relevant teams  such as Payroll, IT and facilities with the correct information for all new starters.
Employee Relations: 
 
  • Lead on and/or support individual ER cases and issues across the various business units.
  • Build and develop a professional HR relationship with managers to achieve continuous improvement and identify trends for action.
  • Work with the HR Team to ensure HR advice is consistent and prioritised across the organisation.
  • Support with Employment Tribunal preparation and submissions. 

People Analytics:
 
  • Support the development of People Metrics to support data-driven decisions
HR Systems:
  • Assist the HR Systems team with data entry and administration.
  • Participate in system User Testing, reporting any issues to the HR systems team.
  • Provide ongoing on System feedback to the HR Systems team.
Project work: 
In addition to the 'business as usual agenda, you may be required to lead on or support projects to develop the HR agenda. Within these tasks, you will be expected to:
  • Proactively plan your workload to ensure project timescales are achieved
  • Actively update HR team and other stakeholders regarding progress and implementation plans.

Education & Professional Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent standard of written and verbal communication
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook

Technical Knowledge & Skills
IT Proficiency:
  • Proficient in 365 Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with HR software and databases.
  • Familiarity with data entry, report generation, and basic analytics.
