Head - Internal Audit and Risk Assurance

The head of internal audit is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal control arrangements and reporting to the audit committee and CFO.

• Managing performance of audit assignment as per the audit plan
• Scheduling and planning audits; initiating project planning, assessing risk and developing audit direction
• Identifying and assessing areas of significant business risk
• Reviewing workpapers and audit reports and form a view on the issue and present to Management/board
• Review and report actions taken by management to implement the corrective and preventive action for the audit findings reports
• Working closely with the CFO and Board to drive Internal Audit Plan, present findings, CAPA and risk management and finance projects

This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities in IA function focusing on

• Closely working with team of Big 4 Audit firms to run the function, and drive Audit process
• Driving efficiency in team ways of working through effective process management.
• Managing and evolving the core Risk Assurance process, guidance, and templates.
• Facilitating the identification, prioritization, and scheduling of Audit/ Risk Assurance reviews, in coordination with the Audit & Risk Assurance (A&A) Resource Head.
• Key projects of driving simplification in finance function.
• Liaising with Compliance to ensure visibility and coordination of Values Risk Assurance and Values Maturity Assessment related activities.
• Ensuring alignment of processes and templates with the broader A&A function, including regular interaction with A&A Delivery Support team.
• Supporting project work as needed to enhance the product.

Basic Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountancy

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or Advanced Degree
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Strong interviewing skills and the ability to build rapport

Experience: Minimum 10-12 years’ experience in an MNC or large Indian Professional environment.Experience in the manufacturing sector and listed company environment is a must. Candidates who are interested in future wider roles in finance would be preferred.Skills:
