The Opportunity
Edelman India is seeking a Head of Creator Marketing to shape, scale and lead our Creator offering across India and South Asia. This role will navigate one of the world’s most dynamic and fragmented creator economies — spanning regional languages, micro and nano creators, platform diversification and increasing commerce integration.
This leader will build Edelman India’s Creator Marketing practice into the most trusted, culturally fluent and commercially effective offering in the region — driving influence, trust and measurable business impact for clients.
What You’ll Do
Drive Growth & Market Leadership
- Establish Edelman as a leading authority in Creator Marketing across India — from strategy and execution to measurement.
- Develop a regionally grounded go-to-market approach leveraging vernacular insights, cultural trends and platform partnerships.
- Build compelling case studies demonstrating measurable impact across brand lift, engagement, commerce and reputation.
- Integrate Creator Marketing into earned, digital, commerce and corporate reputation campaigns across practices.
Lead Client Strategy & Delivery Excellence
- Architect creator-first strategies that connect storytelling, culture and commerce.
- Lead high-value client relationships across FMCG, technology, lifestyle, financial services and policy communications.
- Ensure creative excellence, regulatory compliance and measurable ROI across engagements.
- Oversee influencer partnerships, live commerce initiatives and long-term brand ambassador programs.
Build Ecosystem & Platform Partnerships
- Develop senior relationships with platforms (Meta, Google, ShareChat, Moj and others), talent agencies, MCNs and creator collectives.
- Establish scalable frameworks for creator discovery, contracting and performance measurement.
- Champion responsible creator marketing with a focus on authenticity, transparency and inclusivity across regions and languages.
Strengthen Capability & Thought Leadership
- Create internal playbooks, toolkits and training tailored to the Indian creator landscape.
- Upskill teams and clients on creator strategy, storytelling, metrics and responsible AI usage.
- Represent Edelman through industry forums, trade associations and thought leadership initiatives.
Build & Lead High-Performing Teams
- Recruit, mentor and grow a cross-disciplinary team of strategists, producers and talent specialists.
- Define operational processes for governance, compliance, IP management and measurement.
- Foster a culture that blends creative instinct with analytical rigor and supports long-term career growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in Creator/Influencer Marketing, social-first strategy or digital storytelling across agencies, brands, platforms or publishers.
- Deep understanding of India’s cultural dynamics, digital behaviors and evolving creator ecosystems.
- Proven success leading large-scale, multi-market creator programs with measurable outcomes.
- Strong relationships across platforms, talent agencies, media networks and creator communities.
- Expertise in usage rights, IP management, disclosure regulations, privacy requirements and platform best practices.
- Strategic leadership presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience integrating creator marketing with commerce, performance marketing and reputation strategy is a plus.
