Job Description:
Graduate Trainee/Apprenticeship – Global Sourcing and Procurement
Apprenticeship is a 12-month program that will provide a comprehensive learning experience, blending theoretical knowledge with on-the-job training. Over the 12-month period, apprentices at Russell Investments will gain valuable exposure to industry while developing essential soft skills and acclimating to a professional corporate environment.
Eligibility
Should not be self-employed
Should not be enrolled under other government-funded programs
Should not be practicing professionally at the time of application
Should not be registered on EPF/ ESIC Portal
Should not have completed their education from a foreign university
Apprentices who enroll should have their Aadhaar seeded with their personal mobile number and personal email address. This is a mandate.
About the Role
The Graduate Trainee would be responsible for validating market data vendor invoices, ensuring charges align with contractual agreements, approved budgets, user inventories, and licensing terms. The role serves as the primary control point between Market Data Services, Finance, GSP, and vendors to ensure accurate payment processing, cost allocation, reporting, and audit-ready documentation.
Invoice Validation & Processing
Review and validate vendor invoices against contracts, rate cards, and approved budgets.
Verify pricing, quantities, service periods, user counts, and allocations.
Investigate invoice discrepancies and coordinate with vendors for corrections or credits.
Process invoices through Concur and maintain supporting audit documentation.
Ensure compliance with prepaid expense and amortization policies.
Coordinate invoice approval workflows.
Reporting & Cost Allocation
Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc market data reports as needed.
Supporting Finance with maintaining budget tracking and cost allocation.
Reconcile vendor inventories against internal records on a quarterly basis.
Maintain accurate service costing, service tagging, and allocation data in Abacus.
Role offers lots of learning opportunities to understanding Global Sourcing, Negotiations, Contracting, Procurement Operations and learning tools.
